BR1Mming with benefits
What is BR1M?
A one-off cash hand-out of RM500 was paid to every household earning less than RM3,000 a month.
What's wrong now?
IMHO - If the G is sincere in the distribution of the BR1M, a better and effective approach should have been taken instead of the present system where the vouchers were hand over by politicians.
There are other ways for the assistance to reach the people effectively such as through subsidy or using the existing the government agency facilities like the post office, where the people can go and easily get the vouchers or redeem their money.
More so when few of my friends receive their vouchers they were told to support the BN government.. so it is only apt that the BR1M is called 'Bantuan Rasuah 1 Malaysia.
The government should consider longer term solutions such as helping to improve our domestic economic health and to help to stimulate jobs.
After all the money being dispensed is none other from the rakyat pocket..
