The double digits
I just looked at the ticker and just realized that my baby is almost a one year old. She has become such a loving, affectionate child and it is hard to believe that she is 10 months old. We're in the double digits now.. I can't believe that it's already time to start brainstorming for your first birthday party. It seems as though Mama and Papa just brought you home.
In the last month it seems like you've just "come to life" so to speak because you have become so alert, aware and engaged in the world around you. Mama and Papa are really enjoying watching you grow and learn.
Here are some updates of what my little dancing machine is up to:
1. She crawls as fast as lighting and pulls herself up on everything. She can stand now with out holding onto anything for a long time.
2. Rayna has been talking up a storm and has become quite the little chatterbox. She is saying more and more sounds that actually sound like the real word. So cute..
3. She mimics me constantly and if I start to dance and I am holding her, she dances too.
4. It's hard to imagine her that old. She's still so tiny that I can't even picture her walking. I know it will boggle my mind to see it.
5. Rayna loves to clap. We've been trying to teach her to wave bye bye. Sometimes she gets it right but we think she believes she's waving when she's clapping.
6. She's started clicking her tongue, which is funny.
7. Rayna very playful. She absolutely love playing peek-a-boo. She just love it! She also enjoy when we ask her to find us. It's so touching to know that she definitely know who we are; we love seeing her search for us when prompted to do so.
8. She love clapping hands, but not her own. Rather, when asked to do so, she will clap Mommy's or Daddy's hands. It's so cute and she love doing it.
9. Nowadays Rayna favorite toys aren't toys at all.
Every month with you has been and continues to be magical. Mama and Papa love you with everything we have! Love you to pieces!!
