Had a conversation with some of my colleagues yesterday, about Valentine's Day.
The most common question of the day, "Any big plans tonight?"
For single people who don't celebrate, some of their answers/reasons/things they do:
i) Singles yang loser: "Weh aku mana celebrate Valentine's Day doh. Valentine's Day nih kan follow orang Christian, to celebrate Saint Valentine's Day, said to be a priest in Rome. Christian ada festival diorang, Jews ada festival diorang, kita ada festival sendiri. Takkan nak follow pulak brader." (tak pasal-pasal jadik alim)
ii) Singles yang mengaku kononnya ada girlfriend/boyfriend: "Why should we have a specific day to celebrate love? We should celebrate our loved ones every single day. Malam nih aku penat ah. Tido kat rumah je." (padahal layan p*rn)
iii) Singles yang takde idea nak menipu camne dah: "Mengarut ah benda-benda nih. Menghabihkan duit aku je. Baik aku tido je. Penat doh, dah la weekday." (padahal layan p*rn jugak, dengan gigih)
iv) Singles yang terlampau loser: Antar bunga, teddy bear & greeting card yang sweet kat diri sendiri
For couples who somehow don't celebrate, some of their answers/reasons:
i) Couples yang betul-betul alim: "Religious reasons."
ii) Couples yang partner diorang away/outstation/Missing In Action: "Entah la, dalam banyak-banyak hari, hari ni pulak dia takde. Tak sayang i betul la. By the way you wanna go out tonight? For a drink perhaps? Or dinner? In KL Tower?"
iii) Couples yang tengah bergaduh: "Isk kitorang mana celebrate benda-benda camnih. We don't believe in such thing. We celebrate every single day together like Valentine's Day.." (pppfftt)
Just a joke guys, I'm just playing hehe.
For those who celebrate Valentine's Day today (for whatever reasons), I don't wanna wish you guys anything. Just appreciate your loved ones with special treatment every single day, for the rest of your lives. Not just on Valentine's Day.
For those who don't, have a good rest and take it easy on the something good!

The Seventh Month
Last week we went for my wife 7 month check up. This check up we get to meet Dr Raja Juhaidah again.
She said our baby now weighs 1.8 kg. Alhamdulillah 0.5 kg weight gain from our last check up. Everything looks ok during the scan. Doc ckp my baby’s head position dia kat atas rupanye. She tried to capture a scan of my baby’s face tapi tak dpt because she was so active! Tgn dia bergerak2 with her mouth wide open and tumbuk2 mcm tgh kickboxing! Maybe dia malu kot..
Everyday my wife tummy gets visibly bigger. Our baby pulak sentiasa bergerak2. My wife belly terbonjol sana sini dgn kaki dia, or tangan dia.
Pregnancy makes time flies so quickly, somehow. Err..7 months dah boleh beranak kan? I hope my wife will have enough time to equip herself with the Mommy skills!
For our baby stuff, we had done some surveying on the internet and got a list of stuff we need to buy. We went to Midvalley all excited, and yet after a couple of rounds in the Jusco’s baby department, etc we were still clueless on what to buy!
We started reading forums on the internet about pregnancy and babies. It helps especially on deciding what stuff we really need to buy and which brands are better than others.
We finally got some baby things bought but we’re still a long way to go. Tapi seronok beli barang baby ni. My wife geram je tgk sume cute2. Cuma taktau nak pilih jer. Nowadays kalau nak beli barang mengarut2 mesti terpikir, ish, baik pakai duit beli barang baby!
Again.. I’m so excited!
